Welcome to U3A Timaru
U3A Timaru is a group of mostly retired people who enjoy getting together to hear talks by people with expertise in a wide range of topics.
Our Committee arranges nine lecture Series each year, each with three talks usually on a common theme.
We currently have over 330 members and more than 50 on the waiting list so it's a good idea to plan ahead and get your name on the waiting list if you intend to join. See the Apply to Join page for information about joining U3A and a link to our application form. Currently there's a wait of over a year before a place is likely to be available.
We regret that we're unable to accommodate visitors at our meetings - meetings are open to members only because of limits on the seating capacity of our venue.
