Welcome to U3A Timaru
U3A Timaru is a group of mostly retired people who enjoy getting together to hear talks by people with expertise in a wide range of topics.
Our Committee arranges nine lecture Series each year, each with three talks, usually on a common theme.
We currently have around 330 members and about 85 on the waiting list, so it's a good idea to plan ahead and get your name on the waiting list if you intend to join. See the Apply to Join page (top of this page) for information about joining U3A and a link to our application form. Currently, there's a wait of around two years before a place is likely to be available.
We regret that we're unable to accommodate visitors at our meetings - meetings are open to members only because of limits on the seating capacity of our venue.
